The Logan’s ‘Sister Sunday’ Market Features Women-owned Businesses

To celebrate Women’s History Month, The Logan hotel in Philadelphia is hosting “Sister Sunday,” a market featuring women-owned, small businesses. The event runs March 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors will include Freckled Prints, Get LIT Candles PHL, Lily Lough Jewelry, Rutabaga Toy Library and Sab’s Blankets.

Goth Pop-up Market at Tattooed Mom to Benefit Transgender Youth

South Street bar Tattooed Mom will host goth-inspired pop-up shop on Tuesday, March 15 called Goth Shop and Social. In addition to vendors the event will hold raffles for prizes. Money raised from raffle entries will benefit transgender youths.

U.S. government services company Maximus, which has a location on Keystone Avenue in CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park in Jenkins Twp., has laid off 16 people in Pennsylvania, a company spokeswoman said.
